After graduating from Birmingham Medical school in 2007, Dr Sarah Evans commissioned into the Royal Army Medical Corps where she has served for nearly 18 years. She has deployed on operations and large scale exercises and seen first-hand some of the difficulties that serving personnel can face when trying to conceive.
Dr Evans cemented her interest in reproductive medicine with a fellowship at King’s Fertility in 2020 and established a specialist knowledge base with the Advanced Training Skills module in Subfertility. On completion of the RCOG postgraduate specialist training programme, Dr Evans was appointed as a Military Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2022, taking up a Consultant post between Frimley Park (Joint Hospital Group) NHS trust and King’s Fertility.
Having completed the British Fertility Society study module in male infertility, Dr Evans has an interest in male factor infertility and fertility preservation. She is a member of the British Fertility Society and European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology. She is passionate about communication and education in order to enable people to make their own fertility choices.
