Consultant in Reproductive Medicine & Assisted Conception
Dr Sadaf Shaikh is a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine and Assisted Conception at King’s Fertility.
Having graduated from India in 2011, Dr Shaikh was awarded a Master of Surgery in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2015. She commenced her journey in reproductive medicine in 2016 in India and undertook a senior clinical research fellowship at a prestigious university hospital in London. She has been awarded certification for her expertise and clinical skills in subfertility and assisted conception by the British Fertility Society.
She has extensive experience in the management of subfertility and has worked as a consultant in the independent sector in some of the largest centres in the UK.
Having consolidated her knowledge base in fertility, Dr Shaikh has broadened her horizon to provide comprehensive care from conception to birth by training in fetal medicine at The Fetal Medicine Foundation, Kings College Hospital, London.
Her expertise is reflected in her publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals. Her areas of interest are fertility preservation, reproductive genetics and reproductive endocrinology.
Dr Shaikh is a member of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists, the British Fertility Society and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology.
